VACUUM CLEANERS

Vacuuming is a must to maintain the cleanliness of your space, but this doesn’t mean that any vacuum cleaner can do the job. Using the wrong vacuum cleaner will put your money down the drain and make it more challenging for you to enjoy a cleaner, more sanitary environment. Style has never been so affordable.

The first vacuum cleaner was powered manually, and it used bellows to create a vacuum. It was invented in the 1860s. The average life span of a vacuum cleaner is eight years. Some of the earliest home vacuum cleaners needed two people to operate them - one to vacuum and push or pull the heavy machinery.

Vacuum cleaners also have their place in medical history. The first iron lung was powered by an electric motor with air pumps from two vacuum cleaners. The air pumps changed the pressure inside an airtight metal box, pulling air in and out of the lungs to help polio patients breathe.

There are many different types of vacuum cleaners. Some can vacuum liquids; some are so small they can fit in a pocket while other can even float. Although robotic vacuum cleaners work well and keep the house cleaner, they cannot replace cleaning with standard vacuum cleaners.
